Export of fresh or chilled scallops other than live from Viet Nam: Diminution in 2016

According to numbers issued by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2016 scallops export decreased sharply by 35.07 percent. The variable strongly went down by 204 597.66 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it rose by 17.53%. Viet Nam saw a rise of 3 412.6% in scallops export during the last 17 years. Though, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.12% during the last five years with a negligible overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 681 573.96 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 1 450 004 kilogram in 2006 and record low of 10 785 kilogram in 2000.
