Export of sets of hand tools put up in sets for retail sale from Philippines goes down in 2017

Construction equipment export went down by 26.59 percent compared with the prior year, according to numbers published by United Nations Statistical Office. Construction equipment export dropped from 18 060 kilogram in 2016 to 13 257.02 kilogram previous year, versus the prior year when it grew by 1.72 percent. The overall changes for the previous 22 years hit a decline of 66.01%. Moreover, it has had a drop at a 0.23% average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a marginal overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 17 301.82 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 117 497 kilogram in 2001 and record low of 2 kilogram in 1998.
