Re-import of worked slate, articles of slate or agglomerated slate to Canada drops in 2017

Slate import greatly dropped by 92.42 percent compared with the previous year, according to revised data announced by United Nations Statistical Office. Slate import diminished sharply from 41 798 US Dollar in 2016 to 3 166.95 US Dollar prior year, contrarily to the previous year when it climbed by 596.4%. Canada saw a growth of 1 532.45% in slate import over the past 15 years. However, it has attained a decrease at a 0.41 percent CAGR over the last 5 years with a marginal overall rise since the 2003. It averaged 8 263.06 US Dollar from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 44 246 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 11 US Dollar in 2006.
