Passenger cars in use in Bahrain: Increase in 2017

According to updated numbers announced by OICA, the indicator grew by 5.9 percent in comparison to the previous year. The variable increased by 31.33 thousand units, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 6.27 percent. It reveals the all-time high since 2005. The overall changes for the previous 13 years hit a growth of 118.9%. Moreover, it has shown the average annual growth rate of 0.05 percent during the 5 years with a modest overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 395.61 thousand units from 2005 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 256.85 thousand units in 2005.
