Sales of glucose and glucose syrup in Italy: Growth in 2016

European Commission published that the variable hardly climbed by 4.09% in 2016. Food additives sales barely increased from 383 347 thousand kilograms in 2015 to 399 021 thousand kilograms previous year, in comparison with the prior year when it went down by 2.25%. Italy saw a raise of 31.04% in food additives sales over the past 22 years. Furthermore, it has attained a 0.01 percent compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a marginal overall rise since the 1995. It averaged 351 571.79 thousand kilograms from 1995 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 414 983 thousand kilograms in 2004 and record low of 252 229 thousand kilograms in 1999.
