Export of fresh or chilled onions and shallots from Brazil declines in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that compared to the previous year onions export strongly fell by 53.89%. Onions export went down greatly by 2 674 259 US Dollar, versus the prior year when it climbed by 186.82 percent. Brazil saw a raise of 1 545.4% in onions export over the past 28 years. As well as it has shown the CAGR of 0.15% over the last five years with a negligible overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 1 264 491.43 US Dollar from 1990 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 8 108 958 US Dollar in 2007 and record low of 11 798 US Dollar in 1996.
