Import of pliers, pincers, tweezers and similar tools to Cabo Verde climbs in 2016

In 2016 construction equipment import strongly went up by 38.23 percent, according to new data issued by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator greatly increased from 5 838 kilogram to 8 070 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 79.24 percent. Cabo Verde saw a growth of 237.37% in construction equipment import during the last 20 years. Besides, it has attained an increase at a 0.08 percent CAGR over the five years with a slight overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 5 763.95 kilogram from 1997 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 13 401 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 2 078 kilogram in 2001.
