Export of trunks, suit-cases with outer surface of leather from Uganda drops in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office announced that compared with the previous year consumer goods export greatly decreased by 63.02%. The variable strongly fell from 296 112 US Dollar to 109 494 US Dollar, compared to the previous year when it grew by 583.89%. Uganda saw a growth of 14 981.82% in consumer goods export during the last 23 years. However, it has attained a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.31% during the 5 years with a modest overall rise since the 1994. It averaged 78 877.7 US Dollar from 1994 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 685 879 US Dollar in 2012 and record low of 136 US Dollar in 2006.
