Lead in concentrates production in United States: Decline in 2017

Compared to the year before the variable went down by 6.57%, according to statistics announced by U.S. Geological Survey. It's new all-time low since 1998 as lead production fell by 21 993 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 8.72%. United States saw a decline of 36.51% in lead production over the past 20 years. As well as it has had a diminution at a 0.02 percent compound annual growth rate over the 5 years with a slight overall decrease since the 1998. It averaged 410 013.15 metric ton from 1998 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 520 000 metric ton in 1999.
