Tree nuts supply in Canada: Decrease in 2017

Canada National Statistical Office announced that tree nuts supply slightly went down by 1.77% in 2017. The indicator declined hardly from 71.29 thousand tonnes in 2016 to 70.03 thousand tonnes previous year, in comparison to the prior year when it grew by 10.44%. Canada saw a raise of 589.95% in tree nuts supply during the last 58 years. Moreover, it has shown an increase at a 0.02 percent average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a sharp overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 34.49 thousand tonnes from 1960 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 71.29 thousand tonnes in 2016 and record low of 9.35 thousand tonnes in 1962.
