Battery electric vehicle registrations in Ireland: Decline in Q2 of 2018

In 2nd quarter 2018 electric vehicle registration went down by 12.41%, new numbers from European Automobile Manufacturers' Association demonstrate. The indicator diminished from 282 to 247, versus the prior quarter when it grew by 587.8%. The data hit 76 number in Q2 2017, which is a -74.5% fluctuation compared with the 1st quarter 2017 of 2017. This demonstrates a 225% shift between Q2 2017 and the same quarter the year after. The overall changes for the previous 3 years reached a fall of 0.8%. Besides, the electric vehicle registration is now bigger than its average which equals 143.5 with a marginal overall increase since the start of time series. It attained its all-time high of 298 in 1Q 2017 and record low of 17 in Q4 of 2015.
