Export of jute and other textile fibres processed but not spun from Spain: Raise in 2016

According to updated figures presented by European Commission, jute fiber export sharply climbed by 538.1% in comparison with the previous year. The variable greatly went up by 11 300 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it diminished by 98.21 percent. The overall changes for the previous 9 years attained a diminution of 53.79%. Besides, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.02% over the five years with a negligible overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 36 866.67 kilogram from 2008 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 117 300 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 2 100 kilogram in 2015.
