Import of yarn of synthetic staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to Lithuania: Decrease in 2016

Compared to the previous year yarn import decreased by 29 percent, according to numbers released by European Commission. Yarn import diminished by 1 033 040 Euro, in comparison with the prior year when it grew by 127.65 percent. The overall changes for the previous 14 years attained a decline of 8.85%. As well as it has had the average annual growth rate of 0.18% over the last five years with a modest overall fall since the 2003. It averaged 2 420 415.71 Euro from 2003 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 3 710 110 Euro in 2007 and record low of 1 113 260 Euro in 2012.
