Import of yarn of synthetic staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to Lithuania: Diminution in 2017

According to updated statistics released by European Commission, yarn import greatly went down by 58.97% in 2017. The variable diminished strongly from 2 529 660 Euro to 1 037 980 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 29 percent. It's the lowest record in its history since 2003. The overall changes for the previous 15 years hit a decline of 62.6%. Moreover, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.09 percent over the last five years with a slight overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 2 328 253.33 Euro from 2003 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 3 710 110 Euro in 2007.
