Import of lactic acid to Senegal increases in 2016

According to statistics issued by United Nations Statistical Office, in comparison with the previous year the variable increased sharply by 289.72 percent. Import of lactic acid grew strongly by 8 031 US Dollar, contrarily to the prior year when it decreased by 82.01%. Senegal saw an increase of 101.14% in import of lactic acid over the past 21 years. Though, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.42% over the 5 years with a modest overall raise since the 1996. It averaged 13 453.05 US Dollar from 1996 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 169 704 US Dollar in 2012 and record low of 40 US Dollar in 2005.
