Export of ingots and other primary forms of stainless steel from Panama: Drop in 2016

Metal products export declined sharply by 73.1 percent compared to the prior year, according to numbers published by United Nations Statistical Office. Metal products export greatly diminished from 6 000 US Dollar in 2015 to 1 614 US Dollar previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 52.33 percent. Panama saw an increase of 70.97% in metal products export over the past 9 years. However, it has shown a decline at a 0.56% CAGR over the last five years with a negligible overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 18 926.56 US Dollar from 2008 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 96 425 US Dollar in 2012 and record low of 259 US Dollar in 2010.
