Export of waste from the mechanical working of iron or steel from Bulgaria rises in 2017

In 2017 iron export went up sharply by 159.22%, according to statistics issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Iron export strongly climbed by 30 597 034 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 13.57%. Bulgaria saw a raise of 3 265.08% in iron export during the last 22 years. Furthermore, it has attained the compound average annual growth rate of 0.18% during the last five years with a slight overall increase since the 1996. It averaged 18 663 518.18 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 59 464 872 kilogram in 2006 and record low of 1 190 458 kilogram in 2011.
