Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to Bulgaria: Decline in 2017

In 2017 yarn import declined by 5.51 percent, according to updated numbers presented by European Commission. Yarn import went down by 85 500 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it rose by 27.5 percent. Bulgaria saw an increase of 118.79% in yarn import over the past 15 years. As well as it has attained a rise at a 0.16 percent average annual growth rate over the last five years with a negligible overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 1 133 913.33 kilogram from 2003 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 1 977 100 kilogram in 2006 and record low of 634 100 kilogram in 2008.
