Export of antimony from Turkey increases in 2017

In comparison with the previous year antimony export went up sharply by 105.23 percent, new figures from United Nations Statistical Office present. The indicator grew strongly from 565 974 kilogram to 1 161 549 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it rose by 134.52%. It demonstrates the all-time peak since 1989. Turkey saw a growth of 135% in antimony export during the last 29 years. Likewise, it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.16 percent during the last 5 years with a negligible overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 187 002.55 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 202 kilogram in 2008.
