Re-export of cotton yarn containing 85% or more by weight of cotton from Canada: Fall in 2017

Cotton export diminished strongly by 43.43 percent in 2017, according to new data announced by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable greatly dropped from 14 130 kilogram to 7 993 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 29.92%. Canada saw a increase of 242.75% in cotton export during the last 18 years. However, it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.24% over the last 5 years with a slight overall growth since the 2000. It averaged 13 451.83 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 29 582 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 2 332 kilogram in 2000.
