Re-export of cotton yarn containing 85% or more by weight of cotton from Canada falls in 2017

Cotton export strongly diminished by 43.43 percent in comparison with the prior year, adjusted numbers from United Nations Statistical Office constitute. Cotton export declined greatly by 6 137 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 29.92%. The overall changes for the prior 18 years attained a raise of 242.75%. However, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.24 percent during the last 5 years with a modest overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 13 451.83 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 29 582 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 2 332 kilogram in 2000.
