Export of yarn of artificial staple fibres packaged for retail sale from Austria: Decrease in 2016

Compared to the prior year yarn export strongly dropped by 58.81 percent, according to statistics announced by European Commission. Yarn export fell greatly by 33 020 Euro, contrarily to the previous year when it went up by 207.33 percent. Austria saw a fall of 72.13% in yarn export over the past 9 years. Moreover, it has shown a diminution at a 0.05 percent average annual growth rate during the last five years with a slight overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 48 428.89 Euro from 2008 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 82 980 Euro in 2008 and record low of 18 270 Euro in 2014.
