Tungsten production in Rwanda: Decline in 2016

U.S. Geological Survey reported that in 2016 the variable dropped by 9.41 percent. Tungsten production fell from 850 metric ton to 770 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it diminished by 15%. Rwanda saw a increase of 606.42% in tungsten production during the last 19 years. However, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.01% over the last five years with a marginal overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 494.21 metric ton from 1998 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 1 100 metric ton in 2013 and record low of 41 metric ton in 1999.
