Tungsten production in Rwanda: Drop in 2017

According to new numbers announced by U.S. Geological Survey, in comparison to the previous year tungsten production dropped by 14.94 percent. The variable diminished from 770 metric ton to 655 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 9.41 percent. The overall changes for the prior 20 years attained a growth of 500.92%. Still it has shown a diminution at a 0.1% CAGR over the last 5 years with a marginal overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 502.25 metric ton from 1998 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 1 100 metric ton in 2013 and record low of 41 metric ton in 1999.
