Import of uncoated handmade paper and paperboard to Paraguay: Decline in 2017

According to adjusted data issued by United Nations Statistical Office, paper import greatly decreased by 97.67 percent in comparison with 2016. Paper import diminished sharply by 25 484 kilogram, in comparison to the previous year when it grew by 12 946.5 percent. Paraguay saw a diminution of 84.78% in paper import during the last 29 years. Moreover, it has shown a 0.64% average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a slight overall drop since the 1989. It averaged 122 870.34 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 2 492 121 kilogram in 1996 and record low of 5 kilogram in 2008.
