Sold production of men's or boys' jerseys, pullovers, sweatshirts, waistcoats and cardigans of wool or fine animal hair in European Union: Decline in 2017

Apparel sold production decreased by 6.35 percent compared with the previous year, updated data from European Commission reveal. The indicator went down from 23 062 198 to 21 598 659.92, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 4.61%. It's new all-time low since 2003. The overall changes for the previous 15 years attained a drop of 78.45%. Besides, it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.03 percent during the last 5 years with a slight overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 42 997 656.93 from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 100 203 096 in 2003.
