Sales of men's or boys' jerseys, pullovers, sweatshirts, waistcoats and cardigans, of wool or fine animal hair in Spain: Decline in 2016

European Commission published that the indicator hardly decreased by 4.84 percent compared to the prior year. Apparel sales barely went down from 662.05 thousand items to 629.99 thousand items, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it diminished by 26.9%. It reveals the all-time low since 1995. Spain saw a diminution of 84.18% in apparel sales during the last 22 years. Furthermore, it has had a drop at a 0.17 percent CAGR during the last five years with a marginal overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 4 383.07 thousand items from 1995 to 2016 and it reached its maximum of 9 472.17 thousand items in 1999.
