Import of animal fats, oils, fractions not chemically modified to Burkina Faso: Drop in 2016

Compared with the previous year animal fats import diminished by 15.79%, new figures from United Nations Statistical Office illustrate. Animal fats import fell from 3 800 kilogram in 2015 to 3 200 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 29.3 percent. Burkina Faso saw a growth of 10 934.48% in animal fats import during the last 22 years. Besides, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.15 percent over the last five years with a negligible overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 982.45 kilogram from 1995 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 5 375 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 20 kilogram in 1999.
