Sales of vegetable fats and oils partly or wholly hydrogenated in Germany: Rise in 2016

According to figures released by European Commission, compared to one year earlier vegetable oil sales went up by 10.82 percent. Vegetable oil sales grew by 12 616 thousand kilograms, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 1.56%. Germany saw a drop of 58.47% in vegetable oil sales over the past 22 years. Furthermore, it has had a diminution at a 0.03 percent compound annual growth rate over the five years with a negligible overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 266 814.09 thousand kilograms from 1995 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 453 451 thousand kilograms in 2005 and record low of 114 855 thousand kilograms in 2014.
