Import of copper alloy wire to El Salvador goes up in 2017

According to updated statistics published by United Nations Statistical Office, copper import greatly grew by 43.42% in comparison with one year earlier. The indicator increased sharply from 571 kilogram to 818.92 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it diminished by 83.56 percent. El Salvador saw a fall of 83.62% in copper import over the past 24 years. Furthermore, it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.59% over the last 5 years with a marginal overall decrease since the 1994. It averaged 38 226.5 kilogram from 1994 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 160 509 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 542 kilogram in 2014.
