Fuel oil supply and demand balance in Egypt declines in May 2018

JODI Data reported that fuel oil supply and demand balance dropped by 24.73 percent in May 2018. The variable declined by 9.15 thousand barrels per day, contrarily to the previous month when it rose by 167.74 percent. In 2017, the indicator was decreasing by -306.54 percent and hit 29.94 thousand barrels per day the same month one year earlier. This indicates a -6.99% variation between May 2017 and the same month in 2018. Egypt saw an increase of 1 108.99% in fuel oil supply and demand balance over the past 9 years. Moreover, the fuel oil supply and demand balance is now above average of 14.84 thousand barrels per day with a overall decline since the start of time series. It attained its all-time high of 95.27 thousand barrels per day in May 2015 and record low of -58.42 thousand barrels per day in November 2015.
