Import of hot-rolled iron or non-alloy steel in coils, of a width of 600 mm or more, thickness of 3-4.75 mm and minimum yield point not exceeding 355 mpa to Chile: Drop in 2017

Metal products import fell by 22.78% compared with the previous year, according to adjusted numbers announced by United Nations Statistical Office. Metal products import went down by 9 235 750 kilogram, contrarily to the prior year when it increased by 8.34 percent. The overall changes for the previous 27 years attained a raise of 27.35%. Besides, it has attained a 0.09% average annual growth rate over the five years with a marginal overall rise since the 1991. It averaged 24 604 689.22 kilogram from 1991 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 55 185 776 kilogram in 2006 and record low of 4 288 935 kilogram in 2001.
