Export of crushed or ground pepper of the genus piper from Slovenia rises in 2016

In comparison with the previous year pepper export strongly grew by 175.55%, according to revised figures announced by United Nations Statistical Office. It's new all-time peak since 1994 as the variable sharply increased from 130 536 US Dollar to 359 697 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 26.97 percent. Slovenia saw a growth of 87.7% in pepper export during the last 23 years. Moreover, it has had the average annual growth rate of 0.3 percent over the five years with a negligible overall drop since the 1994. It averaged 126 014.3 US Dollar from 1994 to 2016 and it attained its minimum of 31 357 US Dollar in 2009.
