Sales of refined cane or beet sugar in a solid form in Finland increases in 2016

The indicator barely went up by 4.89 percent in 2016, according to figures published by European Commission. Sugar cane sales hardly increased from 8 177.96 thousand kilograms to 8 578.03 thousand kilograms, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it rose by 21.17 percent. Finland saw a decrease of 52.43% in sugar cane sales over the past 18 years. As well as it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.16 percent over the last five years with a marginal overall drop since the 1999. It averaged 14 440.3 thousand kilograms from 1999 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 20 501.43 thousand kilograms in 2011 and record low of 6 748.9 thousand kilograms in 2014.
