New passenger car registrations in Slovenia: Increase in May 2018

The indicator rose by 10.76% in comparison to the prior month, revised data from European Automobile Manufacturers' Association illustrate. Passenger car registration grew by 709, in comparison with the previous month when it declined by 16.08%. When taking into account the prior year, it can be announced that the variable was climbing by 13.08% and reached 6 786 in May. Between May 2017 and the same month in 2018, the numbers show a 7.59% shift. The overall changes for the prior 15 years hit a rise of 63.11%. Furthermore, the passenger car registration is now higher than its average which equals 5 151.69 with a overall fall since the start of time series. It attained its all-time high of 8 078 in April 2009 and record low of 2 571 in December 2012.
