Production of yarn of synthetic staple fibres not packaged for retail sale in Italy goes up in 2017

Yarn production sharply increased by 67.05% in comparison to the previous year, new numbers from European Commission highlight. Yarn production climbed greatly by 6 826 651 kilogram, in comparison with the prior year when it declined by 11.31 percent. The overall changes for the previous 22 years attained a decline of 80.7%. Besides, it has had the average annual growth rate of 0.08% during the five years with a marginal overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 19 809 506.91 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 88 135 648 kilogram in 1996 and record low of 9 342 359 kilogram in 2014.
