Number of cards with a credit function per inhabitant in South Korea goes up in 2017

According to updated figures announced by Bank for International Settlements, number of cards with a credit function increased negligibly by 1.06 percent in 2017. The variable rose barely from 1.88 in 2016 to 1.9 previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it grew by 2.17 percent. South Korea saw an increase of 3.83% in number of cards with a credit function over the past 11 years. Though, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.01% over the last five years with a overall diminution since the 2007. It averaged 2.05 from 2007 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 2.45 in 2011 and record low of 1.83 in 2014.
