Skim milk powder consumption in Canada: Fall in April 2018

Compared with the prior month skim milk powder consumption dropped by 5.54%, revised figures from Canada National Statistical Office reveal. Skim milk powder consumption went down from 12 541 ton to 11 846 ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it diminished by 13.38 percent. The year before, the indicator was increasing by 4.42 percent and hit 14 088 ton the same month the year before. In brief, the variable was -15.91% lower in April 2017 than in the same month one year later. The overall changes for the prior 42 years attained a rise of 157.52%. In comparison to its average, the skim milk powder consumption is now greater as the mean equals 8 245.11 ton with a modest overall decline since the start of time series. It reached its all-time high of 35 848 ton in July 1977 and record low of -591 ton in August 2015.
