Export of wire of iron or non-alloy steel not plated or coated containing by weight 0.25% or less of carbon from Georgia goes up in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office announced that metal products export grew by 11.86% compared to the previous year. The indicator increased by 11 253.62 US Dollar, in contrast to the prior year when it fell by 28.1 percent. Georgia saw an increase of 544.65% in metal products export over the past 22 years. Though, it has attained a decrease at a 0.27 percent average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 481 240.94 US Dollar from 1996 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 2 799 279 US Dollar in 2008 and record low of 820 US Dollar in 2003.
