Import of salts of formic acid to Honduras drops in 2016

In 2016 organic chemicals import sharply declined by 79.56 percent, adjusted data from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. The variable greatly decreased from 26 369 kilogram in 2015 to 5 391 kilogram prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it went up by 211.87%. Honduras saw a decline of 95.38% in organic chemicals import over the past 23 years. Likewise, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.07 percent during the last five years with a negligible overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 48 919.13 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 424 968 kilogram in 2003 and record low of 714 kilogram in 1995.
