Fuel oil import in Slovakia declines in June 2018

JODI Data announced that fuel oil import fell by 22.5 percent in June 2018. The variable went down from 3.33 thousand barrels per day to 2.58 thousand barrels per day, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it decreased by 26.27 percent. The previous year, the indicator was declining by -87.84 percent and hit 0.43 thousand barrels per day the same month in 2017. In brief, the variable was 500% larger in June 2017 than in June 2018. Slovakia saw an increase of 314.1% in fuel oil import during the last 16 years. Moreover, the fuel oil import is now bigger than its average which equals 1.48 thousand barrels per day with a overall rise since the 2002. It attained its all-time high of 6.66 thousand barrels per day in October 2017 and record low of 0.21 thousand barrels per day in July 2017.
