Fuel oil import in Slovakia rises in April 2018

The variable went up greatly by 442.67% compared with the prior month, revised numbers from JODI Data display. The indicator strongly increased from 0.83 thousand barrels per day to 4.51 thousand barrels per day, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it climbed by 80.48%. The year before, this shift reached -9.58% and the variable hit 3.01 thousand barrels per day in April of the year before. In short, the indicator was 50 percent higher in April 2017 than in the same month the year after. Slovakia saw a rise of 623.4% in fuel oil import over the past 16 years. Moreover, the fuel oil import is now bigger than its average which equals 1.46 thousand barrels per day with a overall raise since the start of time series. It attained its all-time high of 6.66 thousand barrels per day in October 2017 and record low of 0.21 thousand barrels per day in July 2017.
