Export of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale from Belgium: Growth in 2016

According to new data published by European Commission, antibiotic export greatly grew by 75.73% in 2016. It hit its 17-year maximum as the variable climbed sharply by 5 653 490 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 12.69%. Belgium saw a raise of 3 411.28% in antibiotic export during the last 17 years. Likewise, it has had a rise at a 0.73% average annual growth rate during the last five years with a marginal overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 2 336 787.06 Euro from 2000 to 2016 and it attained its minimum of 150 780 Euro in 2004.
