Gas and diesel demand in Brazil: Raise in June 2018

According to numbers published by JODI Data, gas and diesel oil demand greatly rose by 32.42% in comparison to the prior month. The indicator grew sharply by 7 367 thousand barrels, in comparison with the previous month when it decreased by 17.78%. The figures hit 28 694 thousand barrels in June 2017, which is a 1.44 percent shift compared to the previous month of 2017. Between June 2017 and June of the year after, the data constitute a 4.88 percent variation. The overall changes for the prior 16 years attained a raise of 57.5%. Furthermore, the gas and diesel oil demand is now higher than its average which equals 25 380.16 thousand barrels with a slight overall increase since the 2002. It reached its all-time high of 35 637 thousand barrels in October 2014 and record low of 17 915 thousand barrels in February 2004.
