Import of medicaments containing insulin but not antibiotics for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, not put up in measured doses or for retail sale to Belgium drops in 2016

European Commission announced that compared to the prior year the indicator diminished sharply by 92.86%. It's new all-time minimum since 2001 as insulin import fell greatly from 1 400 Euro to 100 Euro, contrarily to the previous year when it grew by 79.49 percent. The overall changes for the prior 16 years reached a decrease of 99.97%. Besides, it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.38 percent over the 5 years with a marginal overall fall since the 2001. It averaged 27 570 Euro from 2001 to 2016 and it attained its maximum of 293 450 Euro in 2001.
