Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Australia rises in 2016

Horses import went up by 18.32% compared to the previous year, updated data from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. Horses import increased by 321, in contrast to the prior year when it declined by 2.12%. The overall changes for the previous 29 years reached a fall of 22.27%. Moreover, it has shown a drop at a 0.01 percent compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 1 952.79 from 1988 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 3 240 in 1989 and record low of 662 in 2001.
