Import of borates of metals to Philippines increases in 2017

According to adjusted statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office, borates import grew greatly by 226.84% in comparison with the previous year. The indicator strongly climbed from 143 256 kilogram in 2016 to 468 215.16 kilogram prior year, versus the previous year when it fell by 23.05 percent. The overall changes for the prior 22 years attained an increase of 2 898.3%. Furthermore, it has attained a 0.23 percent compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a marginal overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 245 680.01 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 724 340 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 5 286 kilogram in 1998.
