Import of sheet piling of iron or steel to Jamaica: Increase in 2017

Metal products import greatly rose by 296.75 percent in 2017, updated figures from United Nations Statistical Office show. Metal products import increased strongly by 100 431.94 US Dollar, contrarily to the prior year when it went down by 57.37 percent. Jamaica saw a decline of 90.58% in metal products import over the past 27 years. Furthermore, it has attained a raise at a 0.27 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a modest overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 410 842.15 US Dollar from 1991 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 4 403 995 US Dollar in 2009 and record low of 22 019 US Dollar in 1998.
