Fuel oil demand in Iraq: Rise in May 2018

According to refreshed figures announced by JODI Data, fuel oil demand climbed by 6.24 percent in comparison to the prior month. It displays the all-time maximum since 2007 as fuel oil demand increased by 81.85 thousand tonnes, in contrast to the previous month when it dropped by 3.9 percent. The data reached 968.15 thousand tonnes in May 2017, which is a 4.36% shift in comparison with the previous month of the same year. To sum up, the indicator was 43.84 percent higher in May 2017 than in May 2018. The overall changes for the prior 11 years attained a rise of 378.69%. Compared with its average, the fuel oil demand is now higher as the mean equals 667.78 thousand tonnes with a marginal overall increase since the 2007. It hit its minimum of 200.31 thousand tonnes in October 2008.
