Fuel oil demand in Iraq: Rise in June 2018

The variable slightly increased by 4.4 percent compared to the month before, revised data from JODI Data reveal. Fuel oil demand hardly grew from 1 392.62 thousand tonnes to 1 453.85 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it climbed by 6.24 percent. It reached its 11-year peak. The same month one year earlier, the indicator went up by 11.08 percent and attained 1 075.38 thousand tonnes. Between June 2017 and June 2018, the numbers illustrate a 35.19% variation. The overall changes for the previous 11 years hit a rise of 399.73%. In comparison to its average, the fuel oil demand is now higher as the mean equals 673.48 thousand tonnes with a modest overall growth since the 2007. It reached its minimum of 200.31 thousand tonnes in October 2008.
