Export of single yarn containing 85% or more by weight of acrylic or modacrylic staple fibres from Guatemala: Decline in 2016

According to figures issued by United Nations Statistical Office, in comparison to the prior year synthetic fiber export went down by 25.11%. Synthetic fiber export fell by 515 866 US Dollar, compared to the previous year when it went up by 1.72%. Guatemala saw a raise of 48 467.55% in synthetic fiber export during the last 21 years. Still it has attained a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.09 percent during the last five years with a modest overall rise since the 1996. It averaged 1 026 591 US Dollar from 1996 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 2 621 132 US Dollar in 2011 and record low of 1 593 US Dollar in 1997.
