Import of unbleached twill cotton containing more than 85% by weight of cotton weighing less than 200 g/m2 to Canada goes down in 2017

In comparison to the prior year the indicator strongly went down by 32.99 percent, according to new figures released by United Nations Statistical Office. Cotton import dropped sharply from 113 154 US Dollar in 2016 to 75 826.34 US Dollar previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 56.06%. Canada saw a drop of 96.22% in cotton import during the last 29 years. Furthermore, it has attained a raise at a 0.19 percent CAGR over the last 5 years with a slight overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 527 460.29 US Dollar from 1989 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 2 005 434 US Dollar in 1989 and record low of 31 325 US Dollar in 2013.
