Import of plate, sheet, strip of copper-tin alloy in coils to South Korea goes down in 2017

According to new data published by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2017 copper import fell by 23.11 percent. The indicator diminished from 3 294 082 kilogram in 2016 to 2 532 752 kilogram previous year, in contrast to the prior year when it increased by 1.88 percent. South Korea saw a increase of 331.56% in copper import over the past 30 years. Though, it has had a decline at a 0.04% CAGR over the 5 years with a slight overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 2 040 385.87 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 3 552 945 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 586 884 kilogram in 1988.
