Refined oil products export in Iraq grows in May 2018

In comparison to the previous month refined oil products export negligibly rose by 3.33 percent, revised figures from JODI Data reveal. The indicator slightly climbed from 1 500 thousand barrels to 1 550 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it grew by 72.81%. The previous year, this variation reached -8.51% and the refined oil products export attained 2 635 thousand barrels the same month one year earlier. When looking at the year-on-year situation, a -41.18% drop can be announced between May 2017 and the same month in 2018. Iraq saw a raise of 85.19% in refined oil products export over the past 11 years. Compared with its average, the refined oil products export is now higher as the mean equals 823.29 thousand barrels with a moderate overall decline since the 2007. It hit its all-time high of 3 937 thousand barrels in October 2017 and record low of 30 thousand barrels in June 2011.
