Worldwide bromine production: Stagnancy in 2017

Bromine production remained steady compared with the prior year, refreshed figures from U.S. Geological Survey show. The same as it has been for the last 2 year, the bromine production did not change at 391 000 metric ton. The indicator saw a 40.21% decline over the past 13 years. Compared to its average, the bromine production is now lower as the mean equals 422 000 metric ton and the variable shows a negligible overall drop since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 671 000 metric ton in 2006 and record low of 301 000 metric ton in 2009.
